This side effect is not common at all because everyone, who uses green tea on regular basis, is familiar with the stomach related problems. Because of the Tannins in the green tea, the body secretes more acid into the body. This is the only reason why the patients with the peptic ulcer are not advised to take green tea. However, to prevent nausea after the use of green tea, you must take it after the meal.
